Private Classical Pilates in Fort Lauderdale
One-to-one and small-group Pilates in your home, your building gym, the studio or online. Sessions follow Joseph Pilates' original system and are adapted entirely to you, so you feel, function and move better in daily life.

The original system, in its original order
Classical Pilates follows the exercises, sequence and apparatus Joseph Pilates developed, passed on teacher to teacher. Nina teaches in a direct line from Joseph Pilates.
The work moves between the reformer, Cadillac, Wunda chair, ladder barrel and mat, so every session builds strength, mobility and control across the whole body.

Three principles
Precision over intensity
Doing less, correctly, produces more lasting change than doing more with poor form. Every repetition is intentional.
The body as a system
A stiff shoulder isn’t always a shoulder problem. Posture, breathing and alignment are read as a whole before anything is isolated.
Longevity as the metric
The question is always whether this will serve you in ten or twenty years. The practice should compound over time.

Your home, your building, the studio or online
Most clients train at home or in their building gym across Coral Ridge, The Landings, Bay Colony, Sea Ranch Lakes and nearby Fort Lauderdale. Nina brings the mat and small props; sessions can also use a reformer if your building has one.
Apparatus sessions on the reformer, Cadillac and chair take place in the studio. Online sessions are live and one to one.

Classical Pilates FAQ
What is the difference between classical and contemporary Pilates?
Classical Pilates keeps Joseph Pilates' original exercises, order and apparatus. Contemporary styles change the repertoire, add other training methods or vary the order. Classical work builds on a set system, so progress is easy to measure.
Do I need to be fit or flexible to start?
No. Every program starts from where you are today. The first sessions focus on breathing, alignment and the foundations, then build strength and range step by step.
How often should I train?
Two sessions a week is the usual starting point for steady progress. Once a week maintains what you have; three a week suits people with a specific goal or timeline.
Can I do classical Pilates at home?
Yes. In-home sessions use the mat and small props Nina brings. If your building gym has a reformer, sessions can use it. Full apparatus work happens in the studio.
Do you offer online sessions?
Yes. Live one-to-one video sessions work well for travel weeks and for clients outside South Florida.
